Wednesday 16 January 2019
Time:
14:00 - 15:00
Time Zone:

This informal session is a safe place to discuss the opportunities and pitfalls of Twitter, share tips and ideas and connect with other academic staff – from PhD students, early career researchers to senior lecturers from across the University.

To start off the session, PhD student Scott Huntly from the Department of Government will talk about his experiences using Twitter and discusses top tips and advice for fellow PhD students who want to increase their research awareness online.

Ben Hall and Neri Blower from the Communications Team will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about tweeting from a professional account.

The forum will take place on Wednesday 16 January, 2pm to 3pm in Special Collections (Floor 1 in the Albert Sloman Library), Colchester Campus.

Feel free to bring your own refreshments.
