Using digitised primary source collections (Gale Primary Sources) In-Person
Need to use primary sources for your assignment or dissertation, but not sure where to start? This workshop will introduce you to Gale Primary Sources, which includes some of the following digitised collections:
- NewsVault (including historical archives of The Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, The Sunday Times, The Financial Times, The Daily Mail)
- Crime, Punishment and Popular Culture
- State Papers 1509-1603
We'll look at the kinds of material included in each collection as well as how to search for documents effectively.
This workshop will be led by Amy Simpson, Carolyn Beckford and Allison Zink from Gale Cengage.
