Newcomers: Finding a journal to publish in Online

Newcomers: Finding a journal to publish in

This session will go through the process of finding the best outlet for your work when you want to get published. In the session we will explore several tools that can be used to identify a journal to publish in. In addition, participants will learn how to spot predatory journals (often called ‘fake journals’) and learn how to avoid these. The session will also give participants some tips that can increase the chance of acceptance from a journal. At the end of the session participants will be able to ask any questions about publishing in a journal.
