Newcomers: Citations 101
This session will explore some of the things that can make your research more visible, and therefore more likely to be cited. During the session we will also take a look at the various citation metrics being used by universities across the world, and how important it is to use appropriate metrics. By the end of the session, participants will know what small actions they can take that can lead to an increase in citations to their work. In addition, participants will know how to embrace responsible metrics, and will therefore be better equipped to understand what data to use in applications. Participants will also be able to ask any questions they might have.
