PGR Writing Retreat (in person) In-Person

The PGR Writing Retreat offers an opportunity for PGRs to dedicate time to focus on writing their thesis. This three-day intensive writing retreat will be held in person at our Colchester campus, and builds upon the success of Time to Write, our virtual writing retreat.

During the three-day programme, PGRs will have a chance to come together to work alongside their colleagues in a dedicated space with no distractions. There will be a clear structure to the day with breaks scheduled, and tea and coffee will be provided. An active break will also be scheduled each day, with a Yoga instructor joining us on day 1 and 3, and an organised walk around campus on day 2.

The group will offer mutual support and accountability, while members of Organisational Development and the Library’s Research Support team will be leading the days, providing writing tips and motivation.

We understand life as a PGR student can be isolating, so by coming together to work on your writing we hope to provide a space where you can be productive, whilst also benefiting from meeting and learning from your peers.

Book your place via Proficio

*Please note: by signing up to this event, you will be signing up to all three days - Monday 6th June, Tuesday 7th June, and Wednesday 8th June.
