Overview
Come along to this workshop to learn what plagiarism means in an academic context, how to identify it and avoid it, and to play a game of plagiarism bingo which will reinforce the information we cover in the workshop. We will emphasize the importance of understanding what is meant by plagiarism in the UK Higher Education context, as well as provide a space for students to ask question about plagiarism. The session will provide practical tips and strategies for avoiding academic misconduct as well as explaining how the University detects plagiarism.
