With the rise of a new generation of powerful AI tools, it can be difficult to know what these tools can and cannot be used for and stay on top of newest developments with AI. This session takes you through the basics of working with generative AI tools, introduces you to simple strategies for writing prompts for different tasks, and gives you a space to experiment with generative AI tools in order for you to make the most of these tools in your academic work without committing an academic offence.

- How to write better prompts
- How to use generative AI tools ethically
