On Track: Excel: preparing your data for analysis (Online) Online
Overview
The aim of this session is to help you prepare your data for analysis, and effectively extract important information from large spreadsheets. The session will focus on how to clean, organise and analyse large amounts of data using Excel’s tools, features and functions.
Key areas covered
- Arranging data ready for analysis
- Cleaning up data, including duplicates and stray values
- Sorting and filtering data
- Using new features like Power Query and dynamic arrays
- Using IF functions and PivotTables for basic analysis
