The importance of reproducible research (in collaboration with UKRN) - Research Visibility Focus Week Online
Reproducible, rigorous, and transparent research are becoming increasingly recognised as fundamental factors of research culture, and play an important part in increasing research visibility. But what do these terms actually mean, and why are they so important? This session will explore what reproducible research looks like in practice, and will enable you to better understand why this concept is so important to research across disciplines.
This session is collaboratively hosted by the Library’s research services team and Dr. Paul Hanel, our local network lead for the UK’s Reproducibility Network (UKRN). A key takeaway from the session will be understanding how you can get involved with our UKRN local network to incorporate more reproducible and open research practices in your work.
