Overview:
This workshop is relevant to all those in the process of planning a dissertation, long essay or research proposal. This session will look at what an extended search strategy is & why it is crucial to a successful dissertation.
Key areas covered:
- What types of academic sources you could use and in what ways they are useful
- Where to search for academic sources
- How to construct an effective keyword search
- How to go beyond keyword searching using citations and other techniques
